06.06.17

What a lovely start to June! But the rain needed so the ground can stay safe for summer racing.

Long journeys the order of last week with Garrahalish to Newton Abbot, jumping superb and finishing a close 4th only beaten 4 lengths. Gary in great form and will surely pick up a race soon!

Kitegen making his way to ffos las, with cheek pieces and a tongue tie fitted for the first time, the plan seemed to be working and was running a great race until a horrible fall 3 out, such a shame for him as it was great to see him back racing like the kitegen we all know. He was absolutely fine the next day.

The horses on their summer holidays all looking well, some of them taking full advantage of the nice grass and have let them selves down very well!

Quiet on the runner front this week, but the runners board looking busier next week, all go still in the yard with power hosing and general tidying up and cleaning being done.
